Emre Colak

Emre Colak is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in big data analytics and software development. Currently serving as Principal Engineering Manager at Helix since August 2017, Emre has progressed through various roles including Senior Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer. Previous experience includes positions at Roche and Bina Technologies, focusing on next generation sequencing analytics. Emre also worked at eBay on X. Commerce and held a software engineer role at NexTag. Emre began a career in 2005 as an intern at IBM. Emre holds a B.S/M.S. in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, complemented by education at Robert College.
