Sharoni Jacobs

Sharoni Jacobs is the current Senior Director of Product, Science at Helix. Sharoni has over fifteen years of experience in the field of product management and development. Prior to their current position, Sharoni was the Head of Product Platforms at Invitae from July 2013 to February 2017. Before that, Sharoni was the Director of Product Management at Complete Genomics Inc. from November 2010 to July 2013. Sharoni started their product management career at Agilent Technologies as a Product Manager from March 2008 to November 2010. Sharoni began their professional career as a Collaborations Scientist at Affymetrix from July 2005 to March 2008. Sharoni started their academic career as a Graduate Student at Salk Institute from January 1998 to December 2004.

After completing their BS in Molecular Biology at UC San Diego, Sharoni Jacobs pursued a PhD in the same field at the same school.

They are on a team with Craig Newman - SVP, Health Systems & Strategic Partnerships, Stefano Menti - Director, Growth, and Kirsten Mouritsen - Director of Product, Enterprise & Experience. Their manager is James Lu, Co-Founder & CEO.
