Luis Alvarez

Luis Alvarez is a dedicated software engineer at FORVIA HELLA, specializing in control theory, machine learning, and electric motor drives. They hold a joint PhD in Electrical Engineering and Information and Communication Technologies from CINVESTAV and the Università degli Studi dell’Aquila, and have a robust background in designing innovative solutions for complex systems. Previously, Luis served as an R&D Control Engineer at Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados del IPN, where they implemented control algorithms on real-time platforms and developed new control methods for hybrid regulation of systems. Luis has also contributed to academia as an adjunct professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey, focusing on physics and scientific writing courses.
