Stefan Maag

Stefan Maag has extensive experience in quality management and operations, primarily in the automotive and beverage industries. At HELLA, from August 2019 to June 2022, Stefan served as Head of Quality Development RCL, managing a team of quality engineers for rear combination lamp projects and acting as a business partner for quality in the RCL product center. Previously, Stefan worked as a Quality Development Engineer, where responsibilities included defining quality systems and methods for automotive lighting products, and as Head of Quality Development for the NSA Division, overseeing lighting development projects in the Americas. Prior to HELLA, from September 2014 to January 2017, Stefan was Operations Director at Cervecería Berber, S.A. de C.V., focusing on operations management and business development for a major craft brewery in Mexico. Further experience includes a consultancy role at 3DSE Management Consultants GmbH, where project management and product development were pivotal, and a brief stint in quality assurance at ZF Group. Stefan holds a degree from Technische Universität Dresden and a business administration degree from Universidad Panamericana.
