Sotiris Michail

Sotiris Michail is a Senior Hydrogeologist with over 6 years of experience in the environmental and mining sectors, specializing in hydrogeological assessments, groundwater management, and dewatering strategies. Currently employed at Hellas Gold S.A., they conduct hydrological modeling and develop water monitoring programs, while also overseeing drilling contractors and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Sotiris has previously held roles at Intergeo Ltd, Dermisis Biscuit Company, and the National Observatory of Athens, and they completed a Master’s degree in Geography and Applied Geoinformatics from the University of the Aegean. They also earned a Diploma in Geology/Earth Science from the University of Patras.
