Ying-Ta Chiu received a Ph.D. in Material Science & Engineering from National Chen Kung University in 2011, alongside an M.S. in 2005 and a B.S. from I-Shou University in 2003. They are currently a Semicon Application Manager at Heller Industries, focusing on advanced semiconductor applications. Previously, Chiu served as a Principal Engineer at ASE Group, where they led numerous projects in IC packaging and material characterization, and earned recognition as an Outstanding Mechanical Engineer in 2016. With 21 technical publications and 5 patents, Chiu's expertise includes diffusion in solids, solder alloy design, and electromagnetic reliability testing.
