Bruce Laabs has held various positions throughout their work experience. Starting in June 1992, they worked as a Mechanical Designer for Omega Technical Services for three years before transitioning to Carlson Tool & Mfg. Corp, where they served as a Lead Design Engineer from October 1995 to September 2008. Laabs then joined Kohler Co. as a Project Analyst in October 2008 and worked there until September 2010. Bruce'sextensive career continued at HellermannTyton North America, where they began as a Project Manager in Marketing from September 2010 to October 2012. Bruce was later promoted to Manager of New Part Project Management from October 2012 to July 2013. Laabs then took on the role of Market Development Manager in the Automotive industry, leading and managing HellermannTyton’s North American business unit in new business development projects and new product developments from July 2013 to December 2018. Subsequently, they worked as the Director of Market Development in the Automotive sector from January 2019 to April 2022. Laabs was then promoted to Director of Automotive and held the responsibility of leading and managing HellermannTyton’s North American automotive market from March 2022 to May 2023. Bruce currently serves as the Executive Director of Automotive - Sales at HellermannTyton North America, where they lead a team of experts in the automotive business, driving innovation and smarter cable management solutions as the industry moves towards electrification.

Bruce Laabs has pursued education in various fields. Bruce obtained an MBA in International Business from the Lubar College of Business. Additionally, Bruce pursued an AAS degree in Mechanical Design with a focus on Engineering and Design from the Milwaukee Area Technical College. Bruce further pursued higher education in the field of Engineering, completing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Milwaukee School of Engineering. Lastly, Bruce obtained a BS degree in Management with a focus on Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
