David Tunnell

David joined H&F in 1994 and is a member of the Investment Committee. He leads the Firm’s efforts to invest in the software and insurance sectors. David has been involved with numerous H&F portfolio companies over almost 25 years of H&F’s investing history and is currently a Director of Applied Systems, Genesys, HUB, Kronos and Ultimate Software. Prior to H&F, David was employed by the Banking Group of Lazard Frères & Co. in New York. In addition, David serves as Board Chair of Sugar Bowl Corporation and a Trustee of Cate School.
