Stuart Banks

Partner & General Counsel, Europe at Hellman & Friedman

Stuart joined H&F in 2007 and is responsible for overseeing the Firm’s legal matters in Europe related to prospective investments and portfolio companies. Prior to H&F, Stuart was an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in London. During this time, he also completed a two-year secondment to the U.K.’s Panel on Takeovers and Mergers. Stuart completed his legal training with Travers Smith, qualifying as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales in 2000.
