Dick Hardt is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in identity management and engineering. As the Founder and CEO of Hellō since September 2019, Hardt focuses on enabling users to prove their identity to developers. In addition, Hardt serves as Co-chair of the SecEvent working group at IETF since October 2016. Previously, notable roles include Principal Identity Engineer at Amazon and Amazon Web Services, where Hardt led initiatives to enhance user experiences and develop enterprise identity strategies. Hardt's entrepreneurial background includes founding Bubbler and HARDTWARE, as well as acting as an advisor for Kera Software Inc. Hardt’s contributions to identity standards are exemplified by authorship of the OAuth 2.0 Core Specification and the A2P3 specification for the BC Provincial Government. Educational background includes a degree from The University of British Columbia.
