Gretchen Heinel is an accomplished Senior Software Engineer and Engineering Manager at Alma since February 2019, bringing extensive experience in various engineering roles. Prior to Alma, Gretchen held multiple engineering positions at Kargo and Simplifeye, as well as an Application Developer role at S&P Capital IQ. In addition to software engineering, Gretchen owns and operates Gretchen Heinel Photography, focusing on surreal and narrative analog photography since April 2011. Educationally, Gretchen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Vassar College, where involvement included coaching and assisting in academic settings.
