Fern Mandelbaum

Fern Mandelbaum is an entrepreneur, coach, lecturer, and investor. As a managing partner at Vista Venture Partners, her portfolio includes Guild Education, BetterUp, MissionU, Andela, Sparta Science, Blendoor, Pique Tea, Tinkergarten, Vocate, FaunaDB, Gridspace, PicnicHealth and popchips. She also acts as an advisor to Accompany, Talent Sonar, Aplomb, Pair Eyewear, Clockwise.MD, and HelloAva.

Fern teaches at Stanford Business School; co-teaches the Accel Innovation Scholars program; advises at the Stanford Distinguished Careers Institute; mentors in the Mayfield Fellows Program and the Stanford Technology Ventures Program; advises Stanford’s business accelerator, StartX; coaches CEOs on building successful brands; consults companies on fostering inclusive leadership and diverse organizations; and lectures around the world.

Fern was co-founder and CEO of Skyline Products before it sold to IDEO, and likewise worked at Monitor Ventures, Metcal, Bain & Company, SRI International, Hewlett Packard and Kyoto Shinkin Bank.
