Emmanuel Cohen graduated from ESIEE Paris with a degree in biotechnologies and furthered their education with a Ph.D. in neuro-immunology from the Cochin Institute in Paris. During their doctoral research, they focused on developing a novel neuro-immune strategy for the dual prevention of mucosal HIV-1/HSV co-infections. Currently, Cohen serves as the Directeur Général at Hellocare and works as an Investment Manager at Inovalis, where they advise on biotech and biomedical ventures.
