Shauna Samuels

Shauna Samuels is an experienced professional with a diverse background in marketing, retail operations, and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Rising Innovator at Tech Prep Rising Innovators since March 2023, Shauna supports Black professionals transitioning into technical roles. As the founder of UNLOCKED BK, LLC, which promotes black-owned brands, Shauna empowers communities by enhancing the circulation of the Black dollar. Previous roles include Growth Marketer at Shopify, where notable achievements included driving over 20,000 gross adds for a subscription service, and Associate Buyer at John Varvatos Enterprises, contributing to significant growth in e-commerce sales. Shauna's career is supported by a BBA in Management from LIM College and an AAS in Fashion Merchandising/Buying from Nassau Community College.
