Tom Kealy

Tom Kealy is a Senior Data Scientist at HelloFresh, a position held since January 2018, and previously served as a Data Scientist within the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Associate in Text Analytics at the University of Bristol from October 2016 to February 2022, where Tom contributed to the development of an automated text analysis system, utilized various technologies including natural language processing and data science, and conducted independent research on document summarization techniques. Key achievements include building a web portal for an internal tagging competition, developing a text extraction framework for notices to mariners, and creating a prototype system to automate the updating process of nautical notices, leading to significant cost savings. Tom holds a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bristol and a degree in Physics with Theoretical Physics from Imperial College London.
