Co-Founder at Hellofriend

Shaban Habib is a Co-Founder with experience in the non-profit, healthcare, and technology sectors. In 2021, they co-founded Burq. From 2017 to 2021, they co-founded Hellofriend, a portfolio company of Right Side Capital Management and CounterPointe Ventures. During their time at Hellofriend, they were part of the Harvard Innovation Lab, Lighthouse Labs, Harvard President's Innovation Challenge, Alibaba Entrepreneurs Fund, Accathon Capital Pitch2China, and OTEC. In 2016, they worked as a Business Data Management at SunTrust. From 2015 to 2017, they co-founded Hilfe Billing Providers Co., a Billing Service Provider for medical professionals in the U.S.A. Additionally, from 2015 to 2017, they were the Co-Founder and President of HelpED Foundation, a non-government foundation engaged in supporting the poor and needy in marginalized areas. Shaban lead board members to manage school building projects in the cities of Sanawan and Multan, Pakistan and built a school from grade 1st to 8th with around 300 registered students. Shaban also raised money to support free education in the flood-affected areas of Pakistan.

Shaban Habib attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2015 to 2016, where they earned a Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (CSAIL) degree in Big Data Analytics. Shaban also attended Virginia Commonwealth University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Information Systems in 2016.
