Alberto Rivera

Alberto Rivera has a diverse work experience in different roles and industries. Alberto is currently the CTO and Co-Founder of Hellometer since 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Strada Labs from 2018 to 2020, where they contributed to the development of an urban traffic analysis platform using artificial intelligence. Before that, they were a Research Engineer at Ford Motor Company from 2017 to 2018. Alberto also gained valuable experience as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Syracuse University from 2015 to 2016, where they conducted research in the Distributed Multi-agent Systems Lab and presented their work on coverage algorithms for robotic swarms at the 2016 MIT Undergraduate Research Conference.

Alberto Rivera completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Alberto has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. Alberto completed the Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in February 2017, followed by the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in May 2018. Alberto also completed the Self-Driving Car Engineer Nanodegree from Udacity in March 2020 and obtained the Reinforcement Learning: AI Flight with Unity ML-Agents certification from Udemy in May 2020.
