Meriam Soryal has a wealth of experience in a variety of roles. Meriam began their career in 1993 with various companies in non-IT related roles. In 2001, they joined Eli Lilly and Company as a Systems Analyst, where they were responsible for assuring delivery of business-driven IT projects. In 2004, Meriam worked at Deutsche Bank as a System Support Analyst and GlaxoSmithKline as an Application Support Analyst. Meriam then joined Fisher Clinical Services in 2006 as a Software Test Engineer. In 2007, Meriam began working at Cerner Corporation as a Lead Consultant & Solution Architect, Test Manager, and Regional Consulting Manager. In 2019, Meriam established their own online coaching practice, Meriam Soryal Coaching. In 2021, they began working as a Covid 19 Vaccination Service Manager at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and as a Project Manager at Pando. Meriam is currently a Project Manager at Sectra, a position they have held since 2022.
Meriam Soryal has a diverse educational background. Meriam obtained a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from Sudan University of Science and Technology between 1987 and 1991. From 1999 to 2003, they completed a BSc (Hons) Software Engineering at the University of Brighton, with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. In 2008, they obtained a Foundation Level Certification in ITIL, and in 2007, they obtained a Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (ISEB). In 2018 and 2019, they attended Maryland University of Integrative Health, where they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in Health and Wellness, General, as well as a Post Baccalaureate in Health and Wellness Coaching with a Concentration on Integrative Health Practices.
