David M. Shapiro

David M. Shapiro, CPA, currently serves as Controller at Pearl since October 2025. Prior to this role, David held various positions at Movable Ink from August 2016 to August 2025, including VP of Finance Operations & Treasury, Senior Director of Finance, Controller, and Senior Manager of Treasury Operations. David's experience also includes serving as Finance Operations Manager and Payroll Manager at Yodle from April 2013 to August 2016. Previous roles at BNP Paribas from August 2004 to March 2013 included Manager of HR Accounting & Payroll and Payroll Manager. David started the professional journey as a Payroll Specialist at IDI Construction and worked at Yonkers Contracting Company as a Payroll Accountant, as well as at Amalgamated Life Insurance as a Payroll Assistant. David holds a B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Baruch College.
