Flávio Brito

Flávio Brito has extensive work experience in various data-related roles. Flávio started their career as a Professor at Universidade Estácio de Sá and UniverCidade, where they taught courses in education and technology. Flávio then joined the Fundação Centro de Ciências e Educação Superior a Distância do Estado do Rio de Janeiro as the Director of the Systems Development Department, where they were responsible for developing and supporting web-based solutions for over 50,000 students. Flávio also developed an E-learning System for state and federal universities in Rio de Janeiro State. Flávio later worked as a BI Manager and Senior Data Analyst at the Governo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - Secretaria de Planejamento e Gestão, where they utilized statistical modeling, machine learning, and text mining techniques to support decision-making. At the Fundação Centro de Ciências e Educação Superior a Distância do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, they served as a Senior Data Analyst and BI Specialist, conducting statistical analyses and developing Business Intelligence solutions. Flávio also worked as an AWS Cloud Advisor and Senior Data Analyst at Affero Lab, where they implemented cloud solutions and monitored performance. Flávio then joined Farfetch as a Big Data Engineer and Agile Ambassador, where they developed data quality control methodologies and extended the Airflow tool for monitoring ETL processes. Their most recent role is at Helloprint as a Data Scientist and Data Engineer, where they develop and implements data science projects for customer segmentation and forecasting sales and revenue.

Flávio Brito holds a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. In addition, they pursued a postgraduate course in E-learning - Pedagogical mediation in distance education from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, which they completed from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, Flávio obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Statistical Science from Escola Nacional de Ciências Estatísticas - ENCE - RJ in 1995.
