Michael Heerkens

Michael Heerkens has a diverse work experience in the technology and e-commerce industry. Michael started their career as a PHP Programmer at Drecomm in 2003 and then moved on to become an IT Manager at Flyerzone Nederland BV from 2005 to 2008. Michael then joined Media Facility Group BV as an IT Manager, where they were responsible for managing software development, hardware infrastructure, and information architecture. In 2012, they became the Director of Technology at Printing.com, the owner of Media Facility Group BV. Michael then joined DHG Holding BV in 2013 as the Chief Technology Officer. From 2013 to 2019, they held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Helloprint, an e-commerce platform. In 2020, they became the Chief Innovation Officer at Helloprint. Michael Heerkens has extensive experience in IT management, technology leadership, and innovation.

Michael Heerkens attended Krimpenerwaard College from 1996 to 2001, where they obtained their HAVO degree. Following this, they went on to study at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences from 2001 to 2006, earning their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology.
