Matt Wade

Matt Wade has extensive work experience in the field of UI/UX engineering and front-end development. Matt is currently working as a UI Engineer at Sage since May 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Senior UI/UX Engineer at UpMetrics from June 2019 to April 2021.

Before that, Matt worked as a Lead UI/UX Architect at Makr from September 2017 to February 2019, where they were responsible for leading the development of an Angular app for creating logos, business cards, labels, and t-shirts. Additionally, they contributed expertise in UX, CSS architecture, and presentation related JavaScript.

Matt also worked as a Senior Front End Developer at WhereFor Business from October 2016 to June 2017, where they wrote and maintained a front-end app using Vue.js for a corporate travel booking tool. Matt had also worked as a Contract Front End Developer at Vail Resorts from July 2016 to October 2016.

Prior to these roles, Matt served as a Senior Front End Developer at rabble+rouser from July 2014 to June 2016. Matt gained experience as a Software Engineer/Front End Developer at SportsLabs - A Silver Chalice Company from January 2013 to July 2014, where they developed large-scale college sports apps using AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, HTML, and SASS. Matt also provided a responsive CSS strategy for an app platform that scaled to hundreds of clients.

Earlier in their career, Matt worked as a UI Designer/Developer at Tagwhat from May 2012 to January 2013. Prior to that, they served as an Interactive Developer at The Tenfold Collective from November 2007 to May 2012. Matt started their career as a Multimedia Designer at Group Publishing from July 2003 to November 2007, where they designed and developed websites and microsites using HTML, CSS, Flash, and ActionScript. Matt also helped maintain an eCommerce system based on Oracle's iStore.

Matt Wade completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting at Colorado State University, where they studied from 1998 to 2003.
