William Guri

William Guri Ph.D. is a Registered Practitioner Psychologist and Counselling Psychologist currently affiliated with Priory Hospital Woking and HelloSelf since 2022 and 2023 respectively. With extensive experience in mental health, William serves as an Academic Mentor with the Black, African and Asian Therapy Network, providing mentorship to Black African students in mental health training. As Director of Ubuntu Healthcare Trust, a non-governmental organization, William focuses on improving healthcare access for disadvantaged communities. Additional roles include serving as a Foundation Governor for the Diocese of Northampton and acting as a Mental Wellbeing Expert for InsideOut. Previous positions encompass roles at Five Rivers Child Care, Place2Be, and Loyola University Maryland, where William also completed a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. William's education includes advanced degrees from Loyola University Maryland and the University of Zimbabwe, along with foundational training in philosophy and theology.
