Frankie Simon has extensive work experience in the software development field. Frankie started their career in 2003, working as a Software Developer for IDF in joint projects with Ness Technologies. During this time, they developed applications, infrastructure, and testing tools, and provided support and maintenance for legacy C&C systems.
From 2007 to 2008, Frankie worked as a Software Developer for IDF, where they used C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle to develop a reports system accessing sensitive security-related data. Frankie quickly integrated into the team and contributed greatly to extending and improving system functionality.
In 2008, Frankie joined CodeRun as a Software Developer, where they helped develop a web version of Visual Studio, utilizing .NET 3.5, WPF, and WCF.
From 2009 to 2010, Frankie served as a Software Developer at Playtech, the only Israeli-based development team in the company. Frankie was responsible for server-side development of a sports betting system and integration with diverse APIs.
As a self-employed Freelance Software Developer from 2011 to 2016, Frankie worked on various remote projects in automation, optics, electronics, and communications. Frankie primarily focused on Qt/C++ development for Windows Desktop applications.
Frankie then joined Frank Financial Aid in 2017 as a Senior Software Developer. Frankie worked with a wide array of technologies and designed, developed, and deployed critical components for the business. Frankie consistently delivered projects on time and above expectations.
In 2018, Frankie worked as a Senior Software Developer at Cymmetria, where they quickly integrated into a fast-paced R&D environment. Frankie delivered a major feature, improved the onboarding process for new developers, and made various contributions to the existing product.
Currently, Frankie is a Senior Software Developer at Simply, formerly known as JoyTunes. Frankie joined the company in December 2018 and continues to contribute to software development.
Frankie Simon completed their high school education at Ort Bialik from 2000 to 2002, focusing on subjects such as physics, chemistry, and software. Following their high school education, Frankie pursued a technical degree in computer software engineering from the Israeli National Institute for Technological Education, which they finished in 2007. Later, from 2008 to 2014, Frankie attended The Open University of Israel, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis on Communication and Media Studies.
