Jean Angela Carter has worked in various roles since 1992, beginning with their role as a Personal Trainer while self-employed. In 1995, they began working as a Health Food Store consultant for The Sunflower Shoppe. In 1999, they took on the role of Loss Prevention/Safety Manager for Marden's Surplus and Salvage, where they were responsible for placement and advice for camera location, running wires, orientation, teaching forklift classes, creating a safe work environment, undercover work, surveillance, maintenance on DVR systems, and many computer program skills. In 2015, they began working as a Business Owner for Angela's Computer & Media Shoppe, where they taught residential users how to stay safe and use any device, fixed computers, printers, tablets, and some software issues, and made house calls to install computing devices including the IOT of things. Later that year, they became a Freelance Subcontractor for Field Nation, where they specialized in computer repair, video surveillance problem solving, networking administrative specialist, running wires, connection problem solving, private investigations, and safety specialist. In 2016, they began working as a Freelance Subcontractor for WorkMarket, an ADP company, and in 2018, they became an Information Technology Specialist for HelloTech Inc.

Jean Angela Carter has an extensive educational background. Jean Angela graduated from Lewiston High School in 1981 with a degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2012, they completed a Work Place Violence certification through FEMA On line. In 2015, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from American InterContinental University.
