Joe Merchant

Joe Merchant has held various positions in the Information Technology and Communications fields since 1999. Starting in 1999, they were the Communications Chief/IMO/COMSEC for the 173rd Airborne Brigade S6/D-Battery 319th AFAR. In 2006, they became the Team Supervisor for the 69th Signal Company/40th ESB and was deployed to Camp Speicher, Iraq from December 2007 to March 2009. In 2009, they were the Information Systems Staff Coordinator for HHD, 114th Signal Battalion S3. In 2011, they were the Cable and Antenna Systems Supervisor for the 114th Signal Battalion. In 2017, they were the Inventory Control Specialist / Operations for Manheim and the Information Technology Support Technician for HelloTech Inc. Joe also worked as a Chauffeur/Partner for Uber from 2014-2017.

Joe Merchant obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in General Studies from Central Texas College between 2013 and 2020. Joe also holds four additional certifications: Bus Driver, 29-60 Passenger from G3 Chief of Training, 18th ABN Corps, Fort Bragg NC in 2014, Confined Space Awareness Entry & Safety from Safety One Training International Inc. in 2011, 3M Fiber Optic Technician from Fort Huachuca, AZ in 2006, and Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) from Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) in 2014.
