HelloU Creative is a Hull-based creative practice founded by Helen Gill, working at the intersection where physical and digital worlds meet. The business combines hands-on creativity with emerging technologies such as augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop immersive, engaging and accessible experiences.

With over 20 years of experience across design, marketing, innovation and digital strategy, Helen established HelloU Creative to create work that blends strategic thinking with practical experimentation. What began as a marketing-focused service has evolved into a broader creative and technology-led practice delivering interactive digital projects, AI-enhanced storytelling, creative learning tools, workshops and community art initiatives.

HelloU Creative works across business, education, cultural organisations, charities and public-sector partners. Each project is collaborative and participatory, ensuring clients, audiences and communities feel actively involved in the creative process. Whether developing immersive installations, supporting organisations with digital communications, or delivering hands-on workshops with young people, the focus is on clarity, confidence and connection.

Technology is used as an enabler to enhance storytelling, interaction and learning, layering digital elements into physical spaces to deepen engagement. Following participation in the Creative Growth programme, HelloU Creative is focused on developing sustainable, repeatable projects that create commercial value while delivering meaningful impact within Hull and beyond
