Helm Behavioral Wellness is a New York City–based psychotherapy practice specializing in evidence-based treatment for anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and related conditions. We provide care for children, adolescents, and adults, with offices in Brooklyn Heights and Manhattan.

Our clinicians use research-supported approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), exposure-based interventions (including ERP), and skills-focused treatments—to help clients face fears, reduce avoidance, and build lives aligned with their values. We offer both weekly outpatient therapy and individualized intensive treatment for anxiety and OCD when higher levels of care are needed.

We take a whole-person approach to mental health. Treatment at Helm considers not only symptoms, but also family systems, school and work demands, lifestyle factors, and long-term wellbeing. We collaborate closely with caregivers, schools, and other providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
