A key aspect for Helm is to offer Managed Discretionary Accounts (MDA) which provides the flexibility to make ongoing investment decisions for clients based on a documented investment strategy.  

Helm was established by James Hodder in 2005. James has almost 30 years experience in Financial Planning including 15  years with Godfrey Pembroke. 

Helm is privately owned by entities associated with James and is not aligned with any bank or financial institution. Remuneration is fee based and Helm's philosophy is to invest patient capital in quality investments using systems and platforms that are good for the client, not an institutional owner.
