Jonathan Templer

Jonathan Templer is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in leading and managing software projects across multiple companies. At Helmes AS since May 2019, Jonathan has led the refactoring of a complex front-end codebase and developed an independent authentication solution. Prior to this role, Jonathan served as a Software Engineering Lead at 24.com, overseeing a backend team during a significant transition to microservices and successfully implementing backend services for notable projects, including a partner site and a national elections platform. Jonathan’s earlier experience includes roles at Global Kinetic and Netcash, focusing on API development, batch processing, and agile methodologies. Jonathan holds an Associate of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of the People and a National Senior Certificate in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bellville Technical High.
