Markus Elsner is currently the Deputy Director at the Institute for Intelligent Biotechnologies at Helmholtz Munich and serves as a Scientist at Deep Piction. From 2008 to 2022, they held the position of Senior Editor at Nature Biotechnology. Prior to that, Markus was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from 2006 to 2008, where they designed and conducted molecular cell biology research.
