Jay Sherman

Jay Sherman has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Most recently, they worked at Helm as the VP of Engineering, starting in August 2021. Prior to that, they held the position of Director, Applications at Helm from October 2020 to August 2021.

Before Helm, Jay worked at Fitplan, Inc. where they served as the Chief Technology Officer from February 2019 to October 2020. Jay also worked as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Fitplan from October 2018 to February 2019.

From 2016 to 2018, Jay worked at Sony DADC New Media Solutions as the Director, Mobile Platform.

Prior to that, Jay served as the COO & Technical Lead at Cyber Dust from April 2014 to February 2016.

In 2013, Jay worked at eHarmony as the Lead iOS Developer from June 2013 to April 2014.

Before joining eHarmony, Jay operated their own consulting business called Jay Sherman Consulting from 2008 to 2013, where they worked as a Principal Developer / Independent Consultant.

Prior to that, they worked at Flying Machine Development as an Interactive Developer / Blu-ray Java Engineer from July 2007 to January 2008.

Jay's early experience includes working at Click Media, LLC as the Manager of the Programming Department from 2000 to 2007.

Jay Sherman attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1991 to 1995, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-TV-Film.
