Spencer Merryman

Spencer Merryman's work experience includes being a Backend Engineer at Helm since March 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer at Codesmith from September 2020 to February 2021. Spencer also served as a Software Developer at Helium, LLC from January 2019 to September 2020, where they developed a full stack application using Php/Laravel and JavaScript. Additionally, Spencer worked as an Associate Instructor at General Assembly from September 2018 to January 2019 and as an iOS Developer at Spots Development Group, LLC from June 2018 to November 2018. Before transitioning to the technology field, they held roles such as Media Strategist at Evangalist from September 2016 to June 2018, Digital Marketing Specialist at Steadfast Creative from March 2016 to October 2016, and Digital Marketing Specialist at 70kft from June 2015 to March 2016. Spencer began their career as a Social Media Assistant/Marketing Assistant at the University of North Texas from August 2013 to July 2015.

Spencer Merryman obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Studies from the University of North Texas, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. In 2018, they attended General Assembly and completed the Web Development Immersive 15 program, earning a certification in Computer Software Engineering. Additionally, in July 2015, Spencer obtained a certification in Google Analytics, followed by a certification in Google Adwords in August 2015.
