Alex Rapoport has over 33 years of work experience in the technology industry. Alex started their career in 1988 as a Project Manager at Ludan. Alex then moved to PC Soft in 1992 as a Marketing Manager. In 1997, Alex joined Axeda Corporation (now part of ThingWorx, a PTC Business) as VP Sales and Operation, where they were responsible for business development, sales, and marketing in Japan, China, and other parts of Asia. In 2004, they became VP Sales and Marketing at Metrolight, where they were responsible for sales to new and existing channels, building the sales infrastructure in China, defining the sales and marketing strategy, and establishing the sales organization. In 2006, Alex moved to Electronics Line as Director of Business Development. From 2007 to 2014, they were VP Sales and Marketing at PowerSines, where they led the marketing team, developed new distribution channels, defined new products, and worked on marketing campaigns, exhibitions, creating marketing content, rebranding, web design, and PR projects. In 2021, Alex joined Help Lightning as VP BizDev & AR Innovation.
Alex Rapoport obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics and Computer Science from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology between 1982 and 1986. Alex then went on to earn an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Alliance Manchester Business School between 2000 and 2002. In 2021, they obtained three certifications from LinkedIn: Google Universal Analytics Essential Training (April), Digital Marketing Foundations (March), and B2B Marketing on LinkedIn (February).
