Dr. Jonas Stumpf holds a Master's degree from the University of Mannheim and a PhD from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. With over 15 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, they began their career at the United Nations World Food Programme, focusing on supply chain optimization and training in challenging environments. Between 2013 and 2016, they led the establishment of Kühne Foundation's first office in Asia, facilitating humanitarian logistics initiatives across the region. Currently, as Regional Director Europe, Jonas drives strategic partnerships with international humanitarian organizations and co-founded the Center for Humanitarian Logistics and Regional Development (CHORD) at Kühne Logistics University in 2021, where they continue to contribute to research and innovation in the field. Their research achievements include multiple prestigious awards in humanitarian logistics.
