Lexy Mangan has extensive experience in providing support and therapy to individuals with diverse developmental and health needs. Currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Helpers, Inc. since October 2013, Lexy assists children diagnosed with Down syndrome and Sanfilippo syndrome, focusing on increasing independence in daily activities and community mobility. Prior experiences include working as a Student Clinician at Children's Medical Center of Dallas and KU Health Partners Inc., where Lexy performed examinations and interventions for pediatric outpatients and adults with neurological conditions. Additionally, Lexy worked as a Leadership Support Worker at Four County Mental Health, supporting children with various emotional and behavioral challenges. Lexy holds a Bachelor's degree in Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center and an Associate of Arts degree from Coffeyville Community College.

We provide payroll processing for families who receive state funding on the HCBS Waiver programs to pay for in-home care for their disabled loved one. Our goal is to offer quality care and personalized attention for individuals who self-direct their services. We provide families with basic skills training for recruiting, managing and terminating Direct Support Workers. Comprehensive backgrounds are completed on all Direct Support Workers at no cost to the client. We ensure access to training and certifications as needed for Direct Support Workers. We provide individual-centered planning for families to meet the needs of each client.
