Michael Eden

Michael Eden is an accomplished software and data engineer with extensive experience in various domains. Currently at HelpWear since August 2022, Michael has effectively managed AWS infrastructure, backend services, and web portals, transitioning existing infrastructure to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Previous roles include algorithm development at NiMBaL Research Lab, where a novel algorithm for detecting clock drift in accelerometers was created, and back-end development at TunnelBear with a focus on the PolarBear service, where performance improvements and CI/CD implementation were achieved. Additional experience includes software development at Hootsuite, contributing to uptime for core microservices, enhancing the Pose Library at SideFX Software, and automating test cases at Iotum. Michael holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo, completed in April 2022.
