Mathieu Orhan

Mathieu Orhan is an experienced AI Research Engineer currently at Helsing since November 2025. Prior to this role, Mathieu Orhan held various positions at Tractable from April 2020 to October 2025, including Research Manager and Senior Staff Applied Scientist, where a core research team was led and hands-on research was conducted. Notable contributions include the development of a modular system for multi-view damage assessment, enhancing performance in original vision problems, and improving document processing for challenging data types. Mathieu Orhan has also worked as a Deep Learning Scientist at Mindee, focusing on text detection, recognition, and document understanding, and contributed to autonomous driving technology as a Computer Vision Researcher at VEDECOM. Educational qualifications include a Master 2 (M2) from ENS Paris-Saclay and a degree from École nationale des ponts et chaussées.
