Simon Schaefer

Simon Schaefer is an experienced AI engineer currently deployed at Helsing, focusing on utilizing artificial intelligence to support democratic processes. Previously, Simon held the position of Autonomy Software Engineer at Torc Robotics, where responsibilities included developing algorithms and analyzing autonomous performance for self-driving trucks. With a decade-long tenure at IBM, Simon served as an IT Consultant specializing in Cloud automation and Blockchain, spanning various international projects. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Computer Science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University, complemented by a Master's thesis on Multi-Robot Planning at Bosch.
