Toby Powell

Toby Powell currently serves as Operations Director and Head of Operations at Hemiko since June 2018, bringing extensive experience in project management and operations. Previously, Toby held the role of Project Manager for Community Energy District Heating at E.ON UK from January 2017 to May 2018, where responsibilities included enhancing performance across approximately 50 district heating sites. Prior to that, from June 2013 to December 2016, Toby was a Balance of Plant Area Manager at Uniper, overseeing significant technical upgrades during the Provence 4 Biomass Conversion Project, while managing a capital budget of 10 million euros and achieving substantial cost savings. Earlier in Toby's career at E.ON UK, Toby contributed as a Project Manager for the Flexible Demand Control Centre and began as an Engineering Specialist Graduate focusing on steam turbines after graduating with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bristol in 2008.
