JD Elder has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

JD started their career at Q.A. Metal Fabricators, Inc. in 1996 as a Manufacturing Engineer/Quality Control Supervisor. During their tenure, they were responsible for managing various aspects of the company's operations, including design, fabrication, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, personnel management, training, quality control, sales, and client relations. JD successfully increased new business by 55%, leading to the addition of a second production shift.

In 2006, Elder joined NORTHWEST ARKANSAS SHEET METAL, INC as a Mechanical Draftsman, where they worked until 2008.
