Solomon Edwards

Solomon Edwards has gained work experience in the field of electrical design engineering. In 2021, they worked as an Electrical Design Intern at DEVITA Inc, where they were involved in various projects and contributed to lighting, power, and data design layouts for residential and commercial buildings. Solomon also had the opportunity to lead electrical work on cross-office projects and attend client meetings with guidance from their mentor.

In 2022, Solomon joined Henderson Engineers as an Electrical Design Engineer intern. During their internship, they created design layouts for multiple grocery stores in Texas and actively participated in site visits. Solomon gained knowledge not only in electrical design but also in the entire MEP design process and the roles of different disciplines. Solomon also joined a diversity and inclusion group called REAL (Race, Equity, and Learning) within the company.

Solomon Edwards completed their high school education at Mallard Creek High School from 2015 to 2019, earning a High School Diploma. Solomon then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Engineering from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University from 2019 to 2023.
