Steven Herek

Steven Herek started their work experience in 2011 as an Operator at Berry Plastics. In 2012, they worked as a Technician/Summer Help at Automatic Comfort Systems. From 2011 to 2012, they held various roles at Southern Illinois University Intramural Sports and Sport Clubs, including Sport Coordinator, Supervisor, Summer Bridge Counselor, and Peer Mentor. In 2012, they became a Graduate Assistant at Southern Illinois University College of Engineering. In 2013, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Magna Exteriors and Interiors. Steven then joined Larson Engineering in 2014 and worked as a Mechanical Engineer I until 2018, when they became a Mechanical Engineer III until 2019. Currently, they are working as a Mechanical Engineer at Henderson Engineers starting from December 2019.

Steven Herek completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2008 to 2012. Steven then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2012 to 2014.
