Robbert Blonk

Robbert Blonk is the Managing Director of Salmonids at Hendrix Genetics, where they lead global initiatives in salmon and trout breeding. They completed a PhD at Wageningen University, focusing on breeding programs for common sole. Robbert previously served as a project leader and geneticist at IMARES, overseeing the development and optimization of genetic improvement programs in aquaculture. Their expertise spans multiple fish species, and they have coordinated significant research and consultancy projects across Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, Asia, and Africa.
