ALI HARANDI

Ali Harandi is an Associate Researcher at RWTH Aachen University, specializing in multiscale and multi-physical modeling of heterogeneous materials. Key responsibilities include the application of classical and data-driven approaches, AI-assisted multi-scaling with the finite element method, and developing a ductile fracture environment within a finite element framework. Ali has also been involved in project management, supervision of theses, and teaching activities in English. Prior experience includes serving as a Student Assistant at the Institute of Applied Mechanics and as a PD Simulation & Machine Learning Engineer at Henkel. Ali completed a PhD in Computational Mechanics at RWTH Aachen University with summa cum laude honors. Previous academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology.
