Carsten Bertling

Carsten Bertling has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the CVP Global Head of HR Digital Transformation at Henkel since May 2011. In this role, Carsten oversees global HR processes and systems, including payroll, lifecycle management, and workforce planning. Previous positions at Henkel include Corporate VP Human Resources and Regional Head of Human Resources Europe. Prior to Henkel, Carsten worked as a Senior Consultant for Compensation & Benefits at Kienbaum and served as a Hauptmann und Kompaniechef in the Bundeswehr. Educational credentials include a Diplom-Kaufmann from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität, a Zusatzstudium in Wirtschafts- und Arbeitsrecht from FernUniversität in Hagen, and a Certificate in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
