Sascha Schaefer

Sascha Schaefer has extensive experience in adhesive development and organic chemistry, currently serving as an Elastic Adhesive and Sealants Development Specialist at Henkel since May 2011, focusing on silicones, SMPs, and butyl rubber. Previous roles at Henkel include Manager of Organic Synthesis & Technical Key Account & Venturing, where new molecules were created for fragrance delivery, and Manager of New Business Development, responsible for start-up scouting and M&A strategies. Early career positions involved significant postdoctoral research at the University of Münster, Cardiff University, and the University of Düsseldorf, with a PhD in Organic Chemistry and a diploma in Chemistry obtained from the University of Stuttgart.
