Robert van Epp

Robert Van Epp has a strong background in finance and leadership roles. Robert is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Hennessey Performance since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the Houston Chronicle from January 2018 to February 2022, where they served as the VP Finance & Controller. Robert also held the position of Director of Financial Operations - Southeast Division at GateHouse Media from November 2015 to January 2018. From April 2014 to January 2018, they were the Regional Finance Director at Halifax Media Group, LLC. Before that, Robert worked as a Finance Director at the Daytona Beach News-Journal from January 2013 to February 2016, and as a Controller at the Houston Chronicle from August 2011 to January 2013. Robert also served as a Controller at Florida Today from 2004 to 2011, as well as at The Tennessean from April 2002 to August 2004. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Controller at Gannett / Statesman Journal from August 2000 to April 2002 and as a Senior Internal Auditor at Gannett from January 1998 to August 2000.

Robert Van Epp earned an MBA in Business Administration from the UCF College of Business from 2008 to 2011.
