Every child deserves the best start in life.

The early years shape a child’s health, wellbeing, and future opportunities. Yet, many children face the risk of shorter, less healthy, and less happy lives due to challenging early experiences.

At HENRY, we work every day to support families in giving their children the healthiest, happiest start—helping them thrive from breakfast to bedtime, and beyond.

We’re proud to have built a national reputation for delivering impactful family support and practitioner training. Our tailored programmes empower families to make positive, lasting changes that benefit their children’s development and lifelong health.

We collaborate with over 60 local partners, including health trusts, local authorities, and voluntary organisations, to extend our reach and impact.

Our Achievements:
- Practitioner training accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH)
- Our Healthy Families programme is rated effective by the Early Intervention Foundation (EIF) with top marks for cost-effectiveness
- Family support accredited with the CANparent quality mark
- Winner of the prestigious GSK IMPACT Award from The King’s Fund
- Delivering projects funded by the National Lottery and the Department of Health
- Currently running a pilot Randomised Controlled Trial funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR)

With the strongest evidence base in the UK for early years healthy start and childhood obesity interventions, we’re making a difference where it matters most. Find out more: www.henry.org.uk/evidence-base
