Thomas White

Thomas White, MPA, serves as the Deputy Administrator of Recreation for Henry County Parks and Recreation, where they focus on connecting community members with recreational opportunities and quality programming. With a robust history of public service, Thomas previously held roles as a corrections officer and security expert in Georgia for thirteen years, alongside serving as a legislative liaison and spokesperson for educational advocacy. Their leadership experience extends to various community organizations, including the HC Convention and Visitors Bureau and the HC NAACP political action committee. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Troy University, graduating magna cum laude, and a Master of Public Administration from Georgia College and State University, where they were recognized for exceptional academic research. They reside in Stockbridge, GA, with their partner, Lani, and two cats.
